This policy explains how SendCoop (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit sendcoop.com, use the SendCoop app, or receive email sent through SendCoop.
Two kinds of data
Your account data. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, company name, time zone, billing details and how you use the app. We are the controller of this data.
Your subscribers’ data. Contact lists you upload or collect with SendCoop forms belong to you. We process them only to provide the service on your instructions, as your processor. See our data processing terms.
What we use your data for
- To run your account, send your campaigns and show your reports.
- To bill you and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To send service messages such as receipts and security alerts.
- To send product news, if you agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve SendCoop using aggregated usage information.
Tracking in emails
Emails sent through SendCoop can include an open-tracking image and tracked links. These record when an email is opened or a link is clicked, along with an approximate location derived from the IP address. Our customers use this to measure their campaigns. Location is resolved with IP geolocation data by DB-IP.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run SendCoop, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing and, when you use AI features, AI model providers. Each is bound to protect the data and use it only for that purpose. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Website analytics
sendcoop.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.
How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account is open and for a limited time afterwards for legal and accounting reasons. When you delete a list or close your account, your subscribers’ data is deleted from our active systems and removed from backups within 90 days.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal information, object to certain uses, and withdraw consent. Email hello@sendcoop.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are a subscriber of one of our customers, please contact that sender first; we will help them respond.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and two-factor sign-in.
Changes
We will post changes here and, for important ones, tell you by email or in the app.
