Build an automation with AI

The AI flow builder turns a plain-language description into a ready-made automation, with emails, waits and tags. It is created switched off, so nothing is sent until you review it and turn it on.

Before you start

• AI writing must be available on your account, and you need at least one list.
• With SendCoop’s built-in AI, generating the plan uses an AI credit. With your own AI key, it doesn’t. See Use your own AI key.

Build it

1. In the left sidebar, click Automations, then New Automation.
2. At the top of the page, click Build with AI.
3. Fill in:
   • List: the list the automation works with.
   • What should this automation do?: describe it in your own words. For example: “Welcome new subscribers, send a 10% code after a day, then our best-sellers three days later.”
   • Tone: such as Friendly, Professional or Witty.
   • Language.
4. Click Generate plan. It usually takes 20 to 40 seconds. You see a preview of the steps and emails.
5. Not happy with it? Change your description and click Try again.
6. Click Create automation.

You will see “Automation created (switched off). Review the emails, then click Activate.”

Review and switch on

1. Open each email step and read it. Change anything you like, just as you would in any automation.
2. Check the waits and tags.
3. Click Activate when you are ready.

What it can build

The AI picks a trigger (such as a new subscriber, a tag or a date) and builds a straight sequence of emails, waits and tag changes. A plan can have up to 14 steps and 6 emails.
