Connect Zapier

Use the SendCoop Zapier app or Webhooks by Zapier to start Zaps from SendCoop events and to add, tag or unsubscribe contacts.

Zapier connects SendCoop to thousands of other apps. You can start a Zap when something happens in SendCoop, and you can add or update contacts in SendCoop from other apps.

Before you start

  • To send data into SendCoop (actions), you need an API key, and API access must be included in your plan. See API keys and REST API basics.
  • Webhooks out of SendCoop work on every plan.

Option 1: The SendCoop app for Zapier

  1. In SendCoop, click Integrations, then API, and create a key named “Zapier”. Copy it.
  2. In Zapier, add a step and search for SendCoop.
  3. When Zapier asks you to connect your account, paste the API key.

The app offers these triggers, which start a Zap instantly:

  • New Contact
  • Contact Unsubscribed
  • Contact Tags Changed
  • Contact Updated
  • Email Opened
  • Link Clicked
  • Campaign Sent

And these actions and searches:

  • Add or Update Contact
  • Add Tag to Contact
  • Unsubscribe Contact
  • Find Contact

When you turn on a Zap that uses a SendCoop trigger, Zapier adds a webhook to Integrations > Automation apps in SendCoop. When you turn the Zap off, the webhook is removed.

If you can’t find the SendCoop app in Zapier, use option 2.

Option 2: Webhooks by Zapier

To start a Zap from SendCoop:

  1. In Zapier, create a Zap with the trigger Webhooks by Zapier > Catch Hook and copy its URL.
  2. In SendCoop, click Integrations > Automation apps. Under Add a webhook, pick the event, paste the URL and click Add webhook.
  3. Click Send test in SendCoop, then Test trigger in Zapier to see the fields.

To add contacts from Zapier: use Webhooks by Zapier > POST to call the SendCoop API, with your API key in the header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY. See API keys and REST API basics.

Tips

  • Use tags to start SendCoop automations from Zapier. For example, tag new webinar sign-ups webinar and use a Tag based automation.
  • If a Zap stops getting data, check the webhook’s Last delivery column on the Automation apps page.
