Store settings, cart tracking and consent
Choose the list for store customers, turn order revenue, customer sync and cart reminders on or off, set the cart delay and disconnect a store.
Once your Shopify or WooCommerce store is connected, its card on Integrations > Stores shows the settings below. Change what you need and click Save settings.
The settings
- List for store customers: the list that store customers join and that cart reminders use. You must choose one before you can sync customers or send cart reminders.
- Track order revenue: paid orders from people who clicked one of your emails are counted as that email’s revenue. On by default.
- Add customers to the list: store customers are added to the list. On by default. See “Consent” below.
- Abandoned-cart reminders: unfinished checkouts tag the subscriber
abandoned-cart. Off by default. - Treat a checkout as abandoned after: how long a checkout must sit untouched before it counts as abandoned: 30 min, 1 hour (the default), 2 hours, 4 hours, 12 hours or 24 hours.
- Attribution window: how long after an email click an order still counts as that email’s revenue: 1, 3, 7 (the default), 14, 30, 60 or 90 days. See How revenue is attributed.
Connecting a store also switches on conversion tracking for your account, so links in your emails carry the click ID that matches orders to emails.
Consent
- Shopify: only customers who agreed to email marketing in Shopify are added. Customers who opt out in Shopify are unsubscribed in SendCoop. New shoppers from an abandoned checkout are only added if they accepted marketing at checkout.
- WooCommerce: there is no consent flag, so every customer is added. Only use Add customers to the list if your checkout asks for permission. Cart reminders only go to people who are already subscribers.
Tags SendCoop adds
customer: added when someone places an order.abandoned-cart: added when a checkout is abandoned, and removed when the customer buys.
Use these in segments and automations.
Recent activity
The Recent activity panel on the store card shows what happened to each order, customer and cart, for example Revenue, Synced, No email click, Duplicate, Skipped or Cart reminder. It is the first place to look if something doesn’t sync as expected.
Disconnect a store
- On the store’s card, click Disconnect store.
- Confirm.
SendCoop removes its webhooks from your store and stops syncing. Your saved credentials are deleted. Past revenue stays in your reports, and contacts already on your list stay there. You can connect again at any time.
