Send a test email

A test email shows you exactly what your subscribers will see. Send one before every campaign to catch typos, broken images and wrong links.

Before you start

• Set a From email on the Setup step first. Without one, SendCoop asks you to add it before sending a test.

Send a test

You can send a test from three places:

• Confirm step of the campaign wizard: click Send test email.
• Campaigns page: open the row menu and choose Send test email.
• Email editor (for a campaign): click Check & test, then use Send a test. This saves your changes first, then sends a copy.

Then:

1. Enter the address under Send to email address. It is filled in with your own email.
2. Click Send test.
3. You will see “Test email sent to” followed by the address.

You can send to one address at a time.

What to check

• The subject line and preheader look right in the inbox list.
• Every link and button goes to the right page.
• Images load, and the email reads well on your phone.
• The unsubscribe link works.

Good to know

• Each test email uses one sending credit from your plan. If your credits have run out, the test can’t be sent.
