Write with AI
Use SendCoop's AI writer to draft whole emails, improve subject lines and text, fix spam issues and match your brand voice.
The AI writer helps you draft emails, subject lines, forms and automations. It works inside the screens you already use, and you can edit everything it writes.
Before you start
- AI writing must be available on your account. If you don’t see the AI buttons described below, it isn’t turned on for you.
- With SendCoop’s built-in AI, each request uses one AI credit from your plan. If you connect your own AI key, requests don’t use your credits. See Use your own AI key.
Improve any field
Look for the sparkle button next to fields such as the campaign name, Email subject and Preheader text.
- Click the button (its tooltip says Improve with AI).
- Choose an action: Ideas, Improve, Shorter, Friendlier, Professional, More compelling, Spam-safe or Fix grammar. If the field is empty, only Ideas is shown.
- Click a suggestion to use it.
Write a whole email
- In a campaign: on the Template step, use Write with AI. Describe your email and AI drafts the content, subject line and preheader.
- From a catalog layout: open a layout and use Write it with AI. AI writes into that layout and keeps the design. See Use the template catalog.
- From the Templates tab: use Create with AI. Describe the email, pick a layout (or Let AI design it), and set the audience, tone, button text and link, length and language. Click Generate email.
Rewrite text in the editor
In the email editor, select a block and open the AI rewrite tool. Choose Improve, Shorten, Expand, Simplify, Fix grammar, CTA-ify or Translate, or type a Custom instruction.
Fix spam issues
In the inbox score panel, click Fix with AI to get a safer subject line and preheader. See Check your inbox score.
Set your brand voice
Teach AI how you sound, so its suggestions fit your style:
- Click Settings in the sidebar, then Brand voice.
- Fill in Voice (a few words describing how your emails should sound), Words to avoid, and a Writing sample (a paragraph you’ve written that sounds right).
- Click Save brand voice.
Tips
- Always read what AI writes before you send it. It is a fast first draft, not the final word.
- Specific briefs work best. “Winter sale, 25% off all linen until Sunday, free shipping over $50” beats “write a sale email”.
