Check your inbox score
SendCoop scores every email out of 100 for spam signals, links, compliance and sender setup, and shows you what to fix.
The inbox score checks your email for things that hurt delivery, such as spammy words, missing unsubscribe links or an unverified domain. It gives a score out of 100 and tells you how to fix each issue.
Where to find it
- In the campaign wizard, on the Template step and the Confirm step. It runs by itself when the page loads. Click Re-check after you make changes.
- In the email editor, click Check & test, then Run check under Inbox score.
What the score means
- 90 and above: Excellent
- 75 to 89: Good
- 50 to 74: Needs work
- Below 50: Likely spam
What it checks
- Subject: empty subject, spam words, ALL CAPS, repeated punctuation, fake “RE:” or “FW:”, very long or very short subjects, emojis.
- Content: spam words, too many capitals or exclamation marks, image-only emails, missing image alt text, and emails close to the size where Gmail cuts them off.
- Links: how many links there are, link shorteners, link text that doesn’t match the address, and links to bare IP addresses.
- Compliance: an unsubscribe link and a preheader.
- Sender: a missing or free-mail From address (such as Gmail), SPF, DMARC and whether your domain is verified.
- Spam filter: a SpamAssassin check, when it is available.
Click Show passed checks to see everything that is already fine.
Fix issues with AI
If AI writing is available on your account, click Fix with AI. You get a safer subject and preheader. Click Apply to use a suggestion, or Copy to paste it yourself.
Tips
- A high score doesn’t guarantee the inbox, but fixing what it flags, plus a verified domain, makes a real difference.
- The fastest wins are usually verifying your domain and adding a preheader.
